Strategic
Management Process
In order to
understand the internal and external environment and in order to synchronize
its activities with global changes, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company defined
formulated strategic management in 2010 for the first time and revised the
strategic management 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2017 due to changes in the macro
environment of business. In the last revision carried out in 2018, in addition
to revising the organization's major strategies and goals, in order to broaden
and translate the overall strategies into sectional strategies, the revision
and development of strategic plans in the fields of production, human resources,
finance, supply, social responsibility and information technology were carried
out and the BSC of each area including the objectives and sectoral strategies,
indicators and initiatives were defined. In the same vein, since the beginning
of the year 2018, in order to align the organization's processes with the
planned strategies, the revision plan and mechanization of processes was
started and implemented via ERP approach. The following image shows the

Business
intelligence (BI) was designed and implemented in order to monitor the
performance indicators in the units, offices and processes of the organization.
In the above system, all indicators are measured periodically. The outcomes of
these results generate analytical reports in different domains to identify the weaknesses
and strengths of the organization.
According to
the analyses based on its own strategic planning, the AKPC uses views of senior
executives and board of directors to identify their key competencies based on
